Hi,
Bill & Sally invited me in the blog today. I am so exited to hear from you. It has been over three years since I have heard from most of you. The kids are great. I am wonderful. Olivia "Livi" is almost three years old. She is sassy and very loving. Christian is 4 years old, but turning 5 in April. He is so smart, loving, and caring. Christian is in preschool and Livi wants to be in school. I am still working at St Mary's Hospital. I have been there for 3 1/2 years. I keep busy at Christain's preschool and at church. I also do some charity projects. I am looking to buy a home in early spring. I have been living with my parents, but it is time to spread my wings. Please let me know about your family and maybe a picture. I tried to put a picture on this blog. But I ran out of time. I try again tomorrow.
Can't wait to hear from you,
Amanda, Christian, Livi Petron

Hello to all(especially MOM)! I hope this blog finds everyone happy and healthy! Well...I am cooking a turkey and all the fixings for Kurt, Dad, Jan, the kids and myself....whew!! I love to cook though and am excited to put the feast on the table! For what I am thankful.....My beautiful children(despite being teens), I love them and this stage is also fun and wonderful(MOST days...haha), also for the health of myself and my family and for the devine being that brought Kurt into my life....I am truely crazy about him! However I must say...I miss having Mom and Bill close by at this time of year soooooooooooooooooooooo much! Thank goodness for all of you who keep your arms wrapped around them in AZ! Only 15 more years and I can semi-retire to Az too!!...heeheehee. Alisha has finished the fall cheerleading season with being chosen "Most Improved" by her peers and also with a varsity letter. Of course now she wants the lettermans jacket to show it off...hahaha. Andrew continues to grow and grow...hey Bumpa...soon he will be towering over you too! Being in retail will keep me plenty busy for the next month or so....arrrrgh, black friday is just around the corner...haha. Well, Happy Holidays to everyone! Take care and stay happy...love and kisses, Stacey

Howdy all you bloggers out there,
We have a new addition to our family as of the 7th of November. She is a Boston Terrier puppy and her name is Betty Lou. As of tomorrow, she will be 9 weeks old and she is already a real PISTOL to say the least. Full of energy and ready to play at a moment's notice. She just loves our 6 year old Pug, Peggy Sue, and Peggy Sue loves her too. They play constantly. Betty Lou has already learned how to fetch and she is learning how to go potty outside which is good! Oh, and she fast learned how to sit and ask for a treat after she comes back inside. What a good girl!! Our 10 year old Shih Tzu, Annie is beginning to warm up to her just a little but Annie didn't want anything to do with her at first, that's for sure. A few growls from Annie for awhile so Betty Lou learned right away not to push Annie. Our 6 year old cat, Daisy Mae, doesn't like her AT ALL!!!!! Lots of hissing going on. Maybe in time that will change but the emphasis is on "maybe".
Our thanks to Bill for re-inviting us to join the bloggers. I kinda screwed things up a bit at first and by the time that I got back to figuring things out, our invite had expired so I had to ask for another invite. But now, here we are and if all goes well we will continue to blog and read all of your great blogs out there. Now all I have to do is figure out how to add photos and we can show you all of our cuties especially our new baby.
That's it for now. God bless. Hugs and kisses=======Chuck and Jan

What's new?????
First of all, Jennifer, I was so happy to see your post, I hope you will write often. I too, think this is a great way to keep in touch with family and friends and to get a glimpse of other peoples' news. If there is someone you would like to have invited to join the blog, just let Bill or me know, send us their e-mail and we will send them an invite. The more the merrier.
Next, it's getting close to THANKSGIVING. Bill and I think of all of you, miss all of you, very much. We wish you much happiness. We will be having dinner with 22 of our closest friends here at Sundance, a big table, seats 24 to be exact, in the ballroom. Each table prepares their own turkey(whatever meat you choose) and each couple sign-up for the other dishes, potatoes, dressing ,etc. The nice thing about it is we are blessed with many great friends and can fill a table of our own easy. It's great and we have a great time! Even so, my heart is always a little lonesome for my family, when I was young, this time of year, this holiday especially, my family was always together.
And finally, I hope everyone is looking at the blog. Let us know how you are, just a quick HI, I know you are all busy. And Amelie, your birthday is right around the corner, Nov. 28, wishing you the happiest of birthdays. Send me a picture of your beautiful self {:~)
Love to all,
Sally

Hello to the Petrons & Woodrows, etc. from the Petrons! Another beautiful Minnesota day as we continue to get ready for winter. (Emma is helping by chasing her ball through the leaves!)
October seemed to fly by -- Jane's Mom had a small stroke on the 12th. She's doing OK, but this has definately slowed her down a bit. Racthel Lindgren flew in from San Diego on the 15th for Warren Rydell's funeral in Milaca on the 17th. We were back up in Milaca on the 20th to celebrate Ray & Janola's 40th wedding anniversary. We brought Racthel down to Millville to stay with George & Elaine on the 21st, picked her up on the 23rd...and then brought her to the airport on the 25th. Very hectic, but what a blessing that Racthel could make the trip after all that she has been through this year. All is well here...hope you are all doing well! Jane & Bob

Hi everyone!
I´ve finally found my way to this blog! It looks great, and seems like a really good way to stay in touch. Everything is good here in Sweden, Larry and I just got back from working out. It´s getting colder outside, and - it´s dark! That very special swedish winter darkness has officially begun. But we´ll bundle up, light lots of candles and try to remember what it´s like in the summertime when the sun barely ever sets.
I hope everyone is well, take care!
Love, Jen

Hi to all! Well, rain again....Kurt just told me that there has only been one day so far in October without rain in Minnesota. Did someone say drought this spring/summer?? Kurt took me on the boat in Stillwater for a dinner cruise last weekend, it was great! Alisha cheers at the final regular season football game this Wednesday, then its off to regionals. Go to orono.k12.com(I think) and you can see a kstp TV spot on the cheerleaders....Alisha is seen in the video :-). Andrew got his haircut(YIPEE!!!) he looks fantastic. This weekend we are all(Bubba too) headed to Duluth to spend the weekend with Shana, Rob and the kids. Kurt and Rob are working on something of course! (Pray for no rain) Well....hope everyone reading this is in good spirits and doing well. I am completely happy(if only I could have mom and Bill often) and doing great! Take care all...Blog often!!!!

Getting Cold in Northern MN!!! BURRRRR
It's getting cold in Duluth!! This morning I sent the girls off to school and the temperatures were about 37 degrees!! Darn....that's cold. Rob and I were down in the cities this past weekend and on Saturday the temps were near 90!! What the.....!!! Only in Minnesota they say. I am sure all you snowbirds are soooo glad that you are heading, if not already, south for the winter. We are fighting all the germs that the new school year brings. Emily is just getting over strep throat and Hannah is coming down with a serious cold. I need to go get my flu shot!!! Rob has been lucky so far, he is in and out of the cold (freezers) so much with work that he doesn't seem to really get the ickies. We are starting to winterize all the motors. The boat, lawn mowers, trimmers, chain saws...ugh...there is so much to do to get ready for the long months of cold weather that are quickly approaching. We are feeding the deer, we get quite a few through our yard. Rob is really looking forward to the hunting season this year. I am off for now!! All my love to my family and friends!!

How am I doing?
I just followed the directions. Am I in? Well it is a great fall day here in Minnesota. I am glad to see the sun after a week of rain. I had over 4" in my rain gage but I got so sick of looking at it that somewhere along the week I just quit emptying it.
My neighbor took his snow-blower out of his garage this morning. I asked him if he new something about the weather that I hadn't heard. He is taking it to a consignment sale because he is leaving for the winter.
Penny and JP are having the trailer hitch nightmares. But once all that is resolved (three trips to ACE) we will join the crew going to change out Mom & Earl's queen bed for two twin beds. Then it is on to bedding-sheets etc.
Thanks for inviting me.

Well as promised, a picture from our wedding. August 4th 2007! What a beautiful day we had. Today, on the other hand, is not quite as nice. Rain here in Duluth today. However, much needed! The water levels here are so low that it is said that we would need 5 years of above average participation to bring the big lake up to the "normal" level. We manage to keep busy though. Hannah is playing volleyball this fall, Emily just finished soccer. Meghan, Robs oldest daughter (on the far left in the pic) is a senior this year. Rachael (next to Rob) is a sophmore and Maddy (next to Emily) is a 4th grader. Hannah is in 7th grade and Emily pulls up the young end in 3rd. We are starting to get ready for fall. That means draining the pond, digging up plants that need to come inside, getting the deer feeder ready and putting away all the signs of summer. BOO HOO....I am not the biggest fan of winter. I will try to add more pictures of the wedding with my next post. Love to you all!! Keep bloggin....XOXO Shana

Hello! Jan and Chuck left today after an 11 day visit to AZ! We had the best time and tried to talk them into staying longer but they had to get back to the theatre! We went to a Diamondbacks game (Jan's first pro game ever), attemped to visit the Grand Canyon and got caught in a nasty thunderstorm & had to turn around, spent some time with Bill and Sally and mostly hung in the pool and drank cocktails! Gotta run! Katie

Hello Everyone!!
We are also virgin bloggers! Quite an interesting way to keep in touch. John and I just got back from Las Vegas after spending 5 days with our son, Brindin. He has been out there for over a year already. Can't believe it.
Retirement is going pretty darn well. I can get used to this very easily.....(this is lennie) John has just gone on long term disability so we are both cozy-ing it up at home.
Okay, we have dipped our toes into the world of the bloggers and we are looking forward to seeing what develops! Thanks for the invite, Bill.

Hmmmmmmm....???!!!!!!
Ok...here we go! I am also new to blogging. But will continue to learn and try....thank goodness it seems most of us are new to it. Karen A..some pointers????...hehe! Kurt and I had a weekend of racing! It was fun and he took me into the infield...for you non-racers, that means I was in the middle of the track while the cars raced around us. Very cool!!!! A friend of Kurts banged up his car bad on Thursday night and came back Friday(although NO-ONE thought he could) and won to get into the big show on Sat. night. He then proceeded to win the feature race on Sat. Very exciting to see someone you actually met and talked to win the big trophy and lots of $$$$ :-). Needlesstosay, Kurt REALLY wants to get back into a car! The season is about over....what will we do with our non-kid weekends now(RELAX)...hahahaha! K, enough babble...ciao family and friends....I think this will be really fun!

Hi from Amelie
Hi,
How very nice to be included.
This is my first try with a blogg so I don´t really know how it works. I will learn. Right now we are having a beautiful autumn Sunday morning. I am at work - all by myself - I need to catch up. It is quite nice to be here all alone.
I wonder how this works - I want to send you some photos later. Love to all from Amelie
